Staircase (Stair Lock)
Section titled “Staircase (Stair Lock)”Your staircase has been supplied by Stair Lock. The treads are tongue and groove timber (not tile). The handrail is stainless steel with brushed brass detail.
- Treads: dry-mop daily. Damp-mop weekly with a barely damp microfibre cloth and a pH-neutral timber floor cleaner. Never wet mop. Wipe up spills immediately.
- Maintain indoor humidity between 40 % and 60 % — same as your engineered timber floors.
- Handrail: wipe with a soft cloth. Stainless steel cleaner is fine on the stainless sections.
- LED strip under the handrail: driver replacement may be needed after 5 to 7 years.
- Stair Lock can be contacted for any tread re-fastening or finishing touch-up work.
Fold-Out Wall Bed (Fold Out Furniture)
Section titled “Fold-Out Wall Bed (Fold Out Furniture)”- Lubricate the gas strut mechanism annually.
- Do not exceed the recommended mattress weight.
- Ensure the bed frame locks fully in both open and closed positions before use.
Electronic Safe (Yale)
Section titled “Electronic Safe (Yale)”- Replace batteries when the low battery indicator appears.
- Record the override key location securely.
Robot Vacuum (Dreame X50 Ultra)
Section titled “Robot Vacuum (Dreame X50 Ultra)”This is a client-supplied item. Refer to manufacturer instructions.
By-Owner Items — not serviced by Duo
Section titled “By-Owner Items — not serviced by Duo”Any items supplied and installed entirely by the owner (such as blinds, curtains, specific fencing, soft landscaping, solar panels, robot vacuum) are not serviced by Duo Build Group.
