Bathroom fixtures and tapware

Tapware (ABI Interiors and Brodware — Brushed Brass & Brushed Nordic Brass)

All bathroom tapware is finished in brushed brass or brushed Nordic brass. This is a living finish.

  • Clean with warm water and a soft cloth only.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaners, bleach, ammonia, or chemical-based bathroom cleaners.
  • For ABI Interiors and Brodware brushed brass / Nordic brass, use only pH-neutral soap and water. Harsh chemicals will damage the PVD/electroplated finish.
  • Avoid contact with harsh chemicals (cleaning products, hair dye, perfume).
  • Limescale can be gently removed with a 50/50 white vinegar and water solution. Do not leave the solution on the surface for more than 2 minutes.

🚨 CRITICAL — Commercial bathroom cleaners will damage brass

Most commercial bathroom cleaners will damage brass finishes. Use only water and a soft cloth for routine cleaning.

Freestanding Bath (Byron Egg Oval — SB131-1700GW)

  • Clean with a non-abrasive bathroom cleaner and soft cloth.
  • Do not use abrasive pads, steel wool, or harsh chemicals.
  • Avoid contact with hair dye, fake tan, and strong-coloured products that may stain.
  • Rinse the bath after each use.

Shower Screens (BAW Aluminium — Frameless)

Your shower screens are frameless glass screens by BAW Aluminium.

  • Squeegee glass after every shower to prevent calcium and soap build-up.
  • Clean with a non-abrasive, ammonia-free glass cleaner weekly.
  • Do not use abrasive pads or razor blades on the glass.
  • Check concealed wall fixings annually for tightness.

Toilets (ABI Interiors Asher)

  • Clean with a non-abrasive toilet cleaner. Do not use in-cistern tablets (they can damage internal components).
  • The soft-close seat should not be forced. If the mechanism loosens, tighten the Sela Toilet Clips.
  • Rimless tornado flush requires less cleaning but should still be cleaned weekly.

Heated Towel Rail (Brodware Linear Solo)

  • Wipe with a soft damp cloth. Do not use chemical cleaners.
  • Use the built-in timer to manage energy consumption.
  • Do not hang excessively heavy items that could stress mounting points.
