Joinery & Laminate Surfaces
Polytec Melamine and Laminex
Section titled “Polytec Melamine and Laminex”- Wipe with a damp microfibre cloth. Use a mild detergent for stubborn marks.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or solvent-based products.
- Matt finishes (AbsoluteMatte) show fingerprints. Clean with a microfibre cloth regularly.
Dulux 2-Pack Painted Joinery
Section titled “Dulux 2-Pack Painted Joinery”- Use a soft damp cloth only. Do not use abrasive or solvent-based cleaners.
- Take care around edges, which are the most vulnerable to chipping.
Brass Joinery Handles (Lo & Co)
Section titled “Brass Joinery Handles (Lo & Co)”Brass handles are a living finish. Refer to the Brass Door Hardware section on the Windows & Doors page for full brass care instructions.
Blum and Hafele Drawer Systems
Section titled “Blum and Hafele Drawer Systems”- Soft-close mechanisms are factory-set. Do not force drawers closed.
- Clean runners periodically with a dry cloth. Do not lubricate with oil.
- If a soft-close mechanism loses tension, contact a joiner for adjustment.
